How This Works

Blaze a trail through the Solutions Hub Expo at the co-located ISTELive 26 and ASCD Annual 26 conference! This guided journey will take you to selected innovative exhibitors focused on STEM tools. Here's how to participate:

     1. Start at the Trailblazer Base Camp (Booth #2269) where our team will welcome you.

     2. Visit the Trailhead counters to pick up a physical map of this route -- or create your own.

     3. Collect conversation guide at the Trailhead to guide your vendor discussion.

     4. Speak with at least two vendors on your route using at least 2 of the questions provided.

     5. Return to Booth #2269 to share what you learned.

     6. Spin the prize wheel to win a premium insulated tumbler or other exciting swag.

Meet Your Guide

Jackie Patanio, Executive Director of EdTech+

Jackie Patanio is the Executive Director of EdTech for DIIT Staten Island in the NYCPS. My experience as an education technology leader and educator of 20+ years has given me insights into the niche needs of leaders who can't dive deep into all the platforms. I've designed this route to skip the hype and focus on inclusive leadership. This is your blueprint for a system of support, inclusivity, and access. We are bypassing the basics to find 'hidden or not-so-hidden gems' — specialized partners solving for barriers that often go unaddressed.

Since many leaders may not be familiar with the nuanced strategies these companies use, this is the perfect time to see how they can support your specific school communities. This journey is about ensuring legal media access, simplifying content for various learners, and closing the communication gap with multilingual families. By pairing universal platforms with data analytics, you'll move from simply adopting tools to actually tracking whether every student feels they belong. This is how we ensure every learner succeeds.
