How I Might Use It

Wayground (formerly Quizizz) is an amazing comprehensive tool that makes accommodations for all learners easy in assessments, lessons, or assignments created right in the platform (aligning with ISTE Educator Standard 2.5.a, "Accommodate Learner Differences.") Teachers can create content, use AI to create content using state and national standards, or upload content from Google Slides and set accommodations for learners. Some accommodations include text to speech, dyslexia font, audio response, translation, extra time, reducing answer options, custom font sizes and more. With a school account you can even use accommodations that other teachers have set for your shared students.

How I Might Use It

MagicSchool is a great tool for differentiation. Teachers can use it to generate leveled texts, personalize material for students, scaffold instruction, create sentence starters and more! You can use the "Student Support" tag to search for tools that are specifically created for student support. There are also a plethora of planning, content, and communication tools available for teachers. This is a tool that makes differentiation quick and easy for teachers to meet their diverse students' needs (and, therefore, aligns with ISTE Educator Standard 2.5.a, "Accommodate Learner Differences").
